Absolutely delighted with the entire experience
Chef Steven and his assistant Indigo prepared a seven course “Chef tasting” menu for our party of 8 in celebration of our 30th anniversary. The party consisted of my wife and I and our two adult children and two couples who have been dear friends for 40 years. We have all traveled extensively and had many wonderful meals around the world. We all agreed this was one of the best meals we have ever had. It was not a “tasting” menu. It was 7 full courses. The tempura battered fried green tomatoes topped with homemade pimento cheese and crabmeat was amazing. His take on shrimp and grits was the best I have ever had. Chef Steven was engaging, answered our questions told us about the courses he was preparing. It was turnkey. They left the kitchen spotless. I cannot recommend highly enough. Ten stars out of five. Worth every penny spent. A comparable meal in a fine dining restaurant would have cost much more and we would have had to drive home afterwards. Absolutely delighted with the entire experience.

Chef Steven provided a delicious four course meal for the four of us at our cabin rental in Blue Ridge. He made accommodations based on dietary restrictions and preferences and everything came out amazing! He was professional, but also very fun! We will definitely use him again next time we’re in town.

Best decision we made on vacation!
We celebrated our father’s 60th birthday with a cabin rental in the blue ridge mountains but among many surprises, the decision to bring in Chef Steven for a customized private meal was the best by far! He was easy to work with and the food and presentation was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and agreed this would become a new tradition for us. It was so worth it to be able to relax at home and play games and hang out as a family and not have to lift a finger before or after the meal, which was beyond what you get in a restaurant and unique to our preferences! Thank you Chef Steven for a great evening!

Amazing Evening
We were celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday and Chef Steven was recommended by many to use his services. I was not disappointed! He showed up and took care of everything. He was able to incorporate a special request in to our menu, which made the meal even more memorable. Definitely will be scheduling him for future events.

Amazing Food and Service
I had an event planned for a 4 course dinner for 9 ladies. I found out very last minute that I had booked the wrong date. Chef Steven not only adjusted his schedule to accommodate MY error but served us the most AMAZING food. Everything was perfect and there was not a morsel of food left on anyone’s plate! Can’t wait to book Blue Duck again….what an incredible Chef!!!

Great evening
Had a party of 11 for our mountain trip and Chef Steven crushed it. We had a 7 course meal that was a knock out.
His duck entree was my personal favorite and dessert was off the chain.

The perfect addition to our elopement weekend!
Chef Steven cooked a four course meal for us two nights in a row, during our elopement weekend in Blue Ridge, GA. Not only was he flexible and creative with menus and open to working around food sensitivities, the presentation and food were amazing and exceeded our expectations on all levels. On top of that, Chef Steven is an incredibly thoughtful, warm person, and we couldn’t have imagined a better person to share our special weekend with. As a bonus, he leaves the kitchen sparkling clean! I highly recommend Chef Steven for any occasion. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing 80th Birthday Celebration!
Wow, is how our entire family felt! We wanted a special evening to celebrate my in-laws’ joint 80th birthdays. Steven with Blue Duck Eats made it a night to remember. He was such a joy to have and made the night extra fun. He helped customize our seven course tasting menu and it was amazing! Every course was not only beautifully presented, but as good as any 5 star restaurant we’ve ever been to! Steven came in set the table, cooked, cleaned and you would never have known he had been here and cooked so an elaborate meal. I look forward to hiring Steven again for another occasion. The experience couldn’t have been better!!

Wow! Where do I even begin! It was truly a blessing to have Chef Steven come to our cabin and prepare us a wonderful private dinner for 6 of us. Chef Steven was also a joy to work with!
